Uncle T.

Side Hustle Salt is the brain child of local hip hop artist, Uncle T. Uncle T got her start making rap music in 2017 performing in local open mics and variety shows. Around 7 months into her rap career she began hosting and curating her own monthly hip hop showcase entitled “Local Dope $#%T” which she has now been running for over two years. Throughout the last few years Uncle T has been working hard to improve herself as an artist.

She put out an EP in October of 2018 and many singles along the way. Late into 2018 she decided it was time to begin working on a full length album and began thinking of creative ways she may be able to fund the project. Uncle T has always been a salt fanatic so it was only a matter of time before her two passions combined. She started mixing recipes together and passing them out to family and friends, asking for only feedback in exchange. Eventually, she had a product that was ready for sale.
